How does it work (cervical traction)?
When you lie back on the contoured foam, the central dip supports the natural cervical curve and the raised sides gently draw the neck into traction, decompressing the cervical spine that gets compressed by forward head posture at a desk. At the same time the built-in heat dilates blood vessels near the skin, lifts local circulation, brings more oxygen to sore muscles, dials down how strongly pain registers and reduces muscle guarding. Together the traction and the heat release the tightness that a flat heat pack alone cannot reach.
How is this different from a compression glove or a heat pack?
A wheat bag or heat pack only warms the surface. It sits flat and does nothing for the compression in the cervical spine. A traction collar decompresses but does not heat. NeckEase is shaped specifically to hold the cervical curve and apply traction while heating the same area at once, so it addresses both the compression and the muscle tension in one lie-down, which a single-function product cannot.
